Roy and I attended the outdoor Figgy Pudding annual Chirstmas Caroling Competition on the first Friday night in December. I sang with the a chorus that competes every year and won the first year I sang. We were promoted to the main stage to sing for the entire crowd--it was so exciting! It's nice though to be a spectator instead of a performer sometimes because then I get to actually stroll around and listen to all the other choruses sing on the street corners in this Dickensonian flavored event which raises money for the downtown food bank and senior center. The main stage is right next to the Macy's star and Westlake Mall.
